I chose to study social work because I have always been interested in the social sciences, especially as in this area it could generate a change both in society and in people. So when I applied to college my options were Social Work, Psychology and Sociology. A week before applying, I was still wondering whether to put Social Work or Psychology first, but thanks to my couple I discovered that I wanted to study social work. When I was a child I wanted to be a veterinarian, because I love pets, but over time I discovered that I did not have much affinity with biology, but with history, so I put the idea aside.
